My Astro Guru Jii is run by My Astro Gurujii, owned and operated by Tusharkumar Patel, 515 Golden Square, Kalyan Farm, Nikol, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382350, India ("we"). Astrology needs personal details, so we treat yours with care. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and your rights.
1. What we collect
- Contact details: name, mobile/WhatsApp number and email address, when you book or contact us.
- Birth details: date, time and place of birth, and those of a partner or child if you enter them for matching or numerology.
- Your questions and session content: questions you ask, the astrologer's written summary, reports prepared for you, and Soma AI conversations.
- Payment information: order amount, status and transaction reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment partner; we never receive or store them.
- Technical data: device, browser and pages visited, through cookie-free analytics (see section 8).
- Feedback: ratings and reviews you choose to give.
2. Why we use it
- To calculate your chart and deliver consultations, reports and Soma AI answers
- To process payments, refunds and invoices
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, summaries and reports
- To match you with a suitable astrologer
- To answer support requests and complaints
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud
- To meet tax and legal obligations
- To send offers, only if you separately opt in; you can opt out at any time
We process your data with your consent, given when you book, buy or use our tools, and where the law requires it (for example, tax records).
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only what each party needs:

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers outside India, under their own security standards and as permitted by Indian law.
4. How long we keep it
- Order, payment and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years).
- Birth details, questions, summaries and reports: until you ask us to delete them, or 3 years after your last activity, whichever is earlier.
- Soma AI conversations: up to 12 months.
- Marketing preferences: until you opt out.
5. How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), access is limited to people who need it for their role, and payment details never touch our servers. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we shared it with;
- correct or update inaccurate details;
- delete your data (except records we must keep by law);
- withdraw your consent, which stops future processing but does not undo past processing;
- nominate a person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.
Write to our Grievance Officer at info@myastrogurujii.com. We acknowledge within 48 hours and act within 30 days.
7. Children
Our services are for adults. A child's details may be entered only by a parent or legal guardian, who consents on the child's behalf. We do not knowingly collect data directly from anyone under 18, and we never use children's data for advertising.
8. Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your language, theme and zodiac-date preferences locally so the site remembers them, and, for the current visit only, which ad or website brought you, which is added to your booking message so we know which advertising works. Our analytics are cookie-free, record only which pages and buttons are used, never record names, phone numbers, emails or birth details, and switch off if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
9. Changes
We will post updates here with a new date, and tell you by email or WhatsApp about significant changes if we hold your contact details.
